Nikki Teran works on biosecurity policy at Open Philanthropy.

Nikki Teran is a former senior biosecurity fellow at the Institute for Progress.

Dr. Teran has previously worked with the Committee on International Security and Arms Control at the National Academy of Science, the Council on Strategic Risks, and the Open Philanthropy Project.

She received her Ph.D. in genetics from Stanford and a bachelor of science in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale.
